RANCILIO's History

1927 Founded by Roberto Rancilio as "Officine meccaniche RR".
1965 The Z8 Espresso machine, designed by the famous designer Marco Zanuso, is released.
1974 Manufacturing of the Z9 Espresso Machine begins. With this, Rancilio's leading position in the world market is strengthened.
1981 Rancilio launches an espresso machine for home use worldwide. From around this time, the Rancilio brand begins to be recognized as an industry leader.
2004 Rancilio begins manufacturing machines featuring the ultimate in innovative high-tech design and functionality.
2011 Rancilio equips its XCelsius Classe 9 with the latest patented temperature profiling technology.
Following that, they release a number of new products in quick succession, such as the "Epoca", an innovative and modern espresso machine; the "Classe 10", with its fashionable, fully aluminum body; the Class 8, with its high-tech design, among others.The company continues to launch products offering excellent performance and design.
Today, the company's original headquarters serves as the Rancilio Museum, which exhibits the company's various machine models released since its foundation.
2013 The KRYO 65 OD Grinder, especially for use with espresso, is released.
2014 The CLASSE II USB and the USB XCELSIUS are released.
